NUS Heritage Tour

Explore the hill country as well as the coastal belt in one trip, where you will feel the warmth of the sun in the coasts as well as the freezing winds in the Hill Country. Visit the Sanctuary for the Gentle Giants in Pinnawala. Have a sunbath in the coasts of Hikkaduwa and explore the ancient built colonial city of Galle. Don’t forget to have a walk in the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka, Kandy.

Day 01 | Airport > Negombo

Arrive at Colombo International Airport and proceed to Negombo and check into the hotel and relax.

Day 02 | Negombo > Pinnawala > Dambulla

After breakfast at the hotel check out and proceed to Dambulla. En-route visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala. Thereafter proceed to Dambulla and check into the hotel. Towards the evening visit the Cave temples of Dambulla. On completion return to the hotel and relax.

Day 03 | Dambulla > Matale > Kandy

After the breakfast at the hotel, visit the Rock Fortress of Sigiriya. Thereafter check out from the hotel and proceed to Kandy. En-route visit the Spice Gardens of Matale. Thereafter proceed to Kandy and check into the hotel and relax. Towards the evening go technical Tours in Kandy and take part in the Cultural Show. On completion return to the hotel and relax.

Day 04 | Kandy > Hikkaduwa

After the breakfast at the hotel visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. Thereafter check out and proceed to Hikkaduwa and check into the hotel. Towards the evening go and explore the Old Colonial City of Galle. On completion return to the hotel and relax.

Day 05 | Hikkaduwa > Kosgoda > Balapitiya > Hikkaduwa

After the breakfast at the hotel, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery and go on a boat safari in the Madu River. On completion return to the hotel and relax.

Day 06 | Hikkaduwa > Airport

After the breakfast at the hotel check out and proceed to the airport.

Dambulla & Sigiriya

Experience Sri Lanka’s culture by exploring some of its prominent UNESCO world heritage sights such as the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the Dambulla Cave Temple, the Ancient Kingdom of Polonnaruwa and even go on a Safari through the one of the 3 national parks to see the majestic Asian Elephants in action.

Matale & Kandy

Walk through a spice garden learning about Sri Lanka’s renowned spices and visit the infamous Temple of the Tooth Relic relishing the religious history of Sri Lanka. Remember to take note of the Colonial architecture that still prevails in Kandy.

Nuwara Eliya & Ella

Enjoy the cool weather wandering through the green tea fields, learning how the famous Ceylon Tea comes to life. Visit the gorgeous water falls and gardens and finally take the most scenic train ride to Ella. Trek through Little Adam’s Peak and also visit the nine arch bridge.

Yala

Go on a daunting full day game drive in the Yala National Park. Seek the illusive Sri Lankan Leopard and if you are lucky, witness the wildlife in action, finding its days’ catch and running from being the pray.

Galle

Walk through the streets of Galle a World Heritage Sight that is rich with British & Dutch History.
